The KHA Quality Team presented the KHA Patient Safety Hero Award yesterday to Kiara Farris, APRN, MSN, UofL Health Center for Women and Infants.
Farris was nominated by a colleague who noted her exceptional patient care and advancement in patient safety. She makes it a priority to foster collaboration and communication with patient families and team members. Farris’s advocacy for patients has not only improved safety outcomes but serves as a role model for staff to take ownership of patient safety.
KHA is grateful to Farris and other patient safety leaders whose commitment to the care they provide makes a difference for their patients and their communities!
