The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has partnered with Westat, the research firm that supports the Surveys on Patient Safety Culture® (SOPS®) program, to present a webcast on October 30 at 1:00 p.m. (ET) to discuss improving handoffs using these surveys.

This webcast will highlight how Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Virginia used AHRQ’s SOPS surveys to enhance its patient safety journey. Representatives will describe their strategies for administering the SOPS Survey, and explain how their survey results and SOPS resources are used to improve handoffs in medical-surgical units.
