• Define Process improvement terms and explain the next 2 steps in PI process: Defining the
  goal & communicating the goal.
• Explain what the S.M.A.R.T goal is and how to construct one.
• Be able to identify how a goal is communicated, in which order it is communicated, and
  ways to communicate the goal.

patient safety personnel, physician leaders, and any healthcare worker interested in using the PI
