AHEC is a collaborative effort with the University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville Health Science Center, and eight regional centers to positively affect the distribution of health professionals throughout Kentucky. The presentation will focus on hospitals working with their local high schools and community partners to not only attract youth to health care careers, but also continual engagement with the students to remain in, or return to, their community after completing their health care degree.
