UofL Health Pathways to Nursing
UofL Health supports nursing students through three distinct pathways. The Career Mobility Program offers flexible scheduling and tuition assistance for Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) transitioning to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and LPNs transitioning to Registered Nurses (RNs) in partnership with Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC). The Scholars Program provides up to $24,000 toward earning an RN degree from an accredited nursing school in exchange for a two-year work commitment. The Fully Funded Tuition Program covers the full cost of undergraduate nursing degrees at the University of Louisville, eliminating out-of-pocket expenses for students.
