UofL Health seeks to support students’ goal of becoming a nurse. Three different pathways are offered: Career Mobility program, Scholars program, and Fully Funded Tuition program. The Career Mobility program partners with Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) to provide a flexible schedule and tuition through two tracks: Patient Care Assistant to Licensed Practical Nurse (PCA-LPN) and Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse (LPN-RN). The Scholars program awards up to $24,000 towards an RN degree from an accredited nursing school in return for a two-year work commitment. Finally, students can earn an undergraduate nursing degree through the University of Louisville without out-of-pocket tuition expenses.
