University of Kentucky HealthCare Enterprise SNAP Program
The Student Nurse Academic Practicum (SNAP) at the University of Kentucky HealthCare provides nursing students with a paid clinical externship. Participants work under the supervision of a registered nurse preceptor, gaining hands-on experience and completing 300 clinical hours. The program enables students to apply their academic learning while assuming nursing responsibilities under guidance.
