Southeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center (SE AHEC)
The Southeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center (SE AHEC) works to enhance access to quality health care by increasing the supply and distribution of health care professionals through community and academic educational partnerships. Serving 16 counties in southeastern Kentucky, SE AHEC offers clinical rotations in rural practice settings and health career programming in local schools to prepare youth for health care careers. The organization also supports communities by providing continuing education for health care professionals and medical library services through the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Medical Center.
