Project HEART
The Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) Project HEART (Healthcare Employment Around Regional Training) initiative addresses eastern Kentucky’s nursing shortage by providing financial and educational support for health care careers. With millions of dollars in pledged funding and a network of collaborators, Project HEART has enabled hundreds of students to access affordable training for sustainable careers in health care.
