The Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) Medical Academy is a specialized program that allows eighth grade students and first-year high school students to apply for a spot to shadow different medical professionals on the Pikeville campus. The program recently kicked off with its first 25-student cohort, who visited Pikeville Medical Center in May 2024 for hands-on healthcare experience.
