Health Career Explorers is a program hosted by local hospitals in partnership with the South Central Area Health Education Center (AHEC) for high school students interested in learning more about different health professions. Throughout the program, students visit different departments at the hospital, learn about each department, and talk with health professionals. In some departments, students will get to try simulated medical procedures.
