Community Action Poverty Simulation
The Community Action Poverty Simulation, hosted by the Purchase Area Health Education Center (AHEC), provides participants with an immersive experience to better understand poverty. Participants simulate living one month in poverty, gaining valuable insights into patient experiences, history, and care. This program currently targets nursing students at Murray State University.
