Murray-Calloway County Hospital Nurse Extern Program
The Nurse Extern Program at Murray-Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) provides nursing students with hands-on clinical experience, professional development, and personalized mentorship as they prepare to enter the health care workforce. Participants work alongside licensed preceptors to develop their skills and gain real-world patient care experience. The program also serves as a key recruitment initiative for MCCH, with many graduates continuing their nursing careers at the hospital. These externs enhance the health care team and contribute to delivering high-quality care to the community.
