Future Healthcare Professionals (FHP)
Future Healthcare Professionals (FHP) is a free program hosted by the South Central Kentucky Area Health Education Center (AHEC) to introduce high school students to health care careers. Activities take place during evenings, school hours, or breaks and include hands-on experiences, service projects, guest speakers, and field trips. Past activities have included CPR/first aid certification, suturing lessons, solving medical forensics cases, intubation training, and vital sign measurement.
