The Kentucky Chamber Foundation’s Military Hiring Academy aims to provide businesses with training and experiences to find, hire, and retain military talent (veterans, service members leaving the military, and military spouses). This initiative bridges the gap between businesses’ need for employees and those in the military community looking for meaningful civilian employment. The academy also helps companies discover and discern what support services are available and appropriate for their hiring and retention needs. One goal of many is to better connect transitioning military members with health care experience to new careers and opportunities with Kentucky health care facilities.
